Hello! My name is Eric Proffit, and I'm a photographer from Princeton, West Virginia. Throughout my life I have enjoyed photography as a hobby. I recall the memories of my very first camera, a Canon SureShot 35mm that my dad gave me. Taking photos with that camera and looking at all the other photos that my family had taken throughout the year completely mesmerized me. I was fascinated by the depth of story that could be relived by looking at a few photos. I was so very excited to start adding my own photos to the family albums.

Over the years I have continued my passion for capturing moments. I developed my skills of the art and my particular visual style through many years of photographing local musicians, the local landscape, and basically anything and everything that I found interesting. Several years ago I took a leap and decided to start offering my photographic vision to others looking to capture their own special moments. I am forever grateful to those along the way who helped progress my skill; countless hours of YouTube videos and local photographers willing to let me tag along as a second-shooter.

My interest and love for photography only keeps growing and it would be my honor to help you capture and preserve those precious moments in your life. My primary focus has always been natural light portraits and live music and events, but I can also shoot small groups, engagements, and the occasional wedding.
